RailMac K13NK 60T 4-Axle

The K13NK ballast hopper wagon is the final improved version of China’s classic K13 series ballast wagons, which originally entered production in 1972. Developed and upgraded by CRRC Taiyuan on the foundation of the traditional K13 type, this wagon features multiple optimized designs for enhanced performance and reliability.
It is equipped with K2 bogies to replace the older bogie structure, and fitted with an automatic empty‑load adjustment device for better operational stability. The wagon also adopts a combined brake beam and high‑friction composite brake shoe, improving braking efficiency and safety. These upgrades greatly enhance running stability, durability, and maintenance convenience.
As part of SinoMac, RailMac provides full life‑cycle services for the K13NK ballast hopper wagon, including design, system supply, installation, commissioning, after‑sales training, spare parts supply, troubleshooting and overhaul support, ensuring stable and efficient performance throughout its service life.

  • Using Grade C steel No.13 couplers, 13A-type coupler yokes, and ST-type buffers, the connection system features high strength and durability, effectively absorbing impact forces and guaranteeing safe and reliable marshalling and transportation.
