Covered hoppers are railway freight hopper wagons with roofs. This type of
hopper wagons is designed to transport sand, clay, cement powders, grain, and other dry bulk materials that need to be stored in closed conditions. The cover of the wagon will protect the goods from rains, storms, snows, winds, and sunshine.
We have the capability to manufacture 70-ton covered hopper cars, suitable for operation on 1000 mm narrow-gauge railways, 1045 mm standard-gauge railways, or 1520 mm gauge railways.
